Dr. Jason Boyer

Dr. Jason Boyer graduated from Brigham Young University Cum Laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Biology.  He received his medical degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, during which time he was active in orthopedic research.  After medical school, Dr. Boyer continued his orthopedic training in New York City at the prestigious Hospital for Joint Diseases. It was during residency that he gained experience working with athletes at all levels.  While in New York, he was a team doctor for NYU athletics, the Alvin Ailey Dance Company and Jamaica High School football.  After completing residency in New York, Dr. Boyer pursued a Sports Medicine fellowship in Santa Monica, California.

During fellowship, he had the opportunity to work with professional, collegiate, high school and recreational athletes on a more consistent basis.  His training during fellowship focused on state of the art techniques involving cartilage repair and replacement, ligament reconstruction, arthritis treatments and returning athletes to the playing field.  While in Santa Monica, he was a team doctor for the LA Galaxy, Chivas USA and the Men’s National Soccer team.  He was also one of the staff physicians for Pepperdine University athletics, Santa Monica College football and St. Monica High School.  Dr. Boyer is excited to bring his expertise to this community.

Along with spending time with his wife and daughter, he enjoys outdoor activities such as hiking, camping and backpacking, as well as playing and attending various sporting events.
